Hanna Meendering, 98, of Hull died Sunday, November 13, at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home in Hull. Services were Wednesday, November 16, at First Christian Reformed
Church of Hull with the Rev. William Renkema officiating. Burial, was at Hope Cemetery in Hull.

Born Hanna Te Slaa August 30, 1890, in Aalten, The Netherlands, she came to the United States. With her faniily at the age of 18 and settled at Hull. She married Albert Meendering at Hull March 26, 1914. The couple farmed in the Rock Valley, Sioux Center and Hull areas, retiring to Hull in 1955, He died December 7, 1959, at Hull. Since 1980 she has resided at Pleasant Acres.

She was a member of First Christian Reformed Church of Hull and the church's Be a Blessing Society.

Survivors include a daughter, Gertrude Leusink of Orange City; three sons; Bernard and John, both of Hull, and George of Sioux Center; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and ' one great-great-granddaughter.
