Gene lived in Alaska since 1959 and was an author, poet, gold miner,entertainer and adventurer. In 1995, he moved to Hawaii.
He died of cancer at the age of 77 and is survived by 78 living descendants 15 children, Princess of Peru .... He was preceded in death by five brothers, Floyd, Robert, Leon, Charles and Kenneth.
