Scratch on Face from Shaving Became Infected Bringing Death Less Than a Week.

Luther Inge, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Inge of 503 North Fourth street, who had been very low for the last two days as a result of blood poisoning died at 5:50 yesterday afternoon at the West Side hospital.

While shaving one day early in the week, Mr. Inge cut himself and the wound became infected. Blood poisoning set in and Thursday morning he became so bad that he was taken to the West Side hospital. Everything possible was done to save his life, but to no avail, and his sufferings were ended late yesterday afternoon.

Mr. Inge was one of the most promising men of the city and was well stared on a successful career. He formerly was employed by the Laderer Clothing company but at the time of his death was employed by the Gottlieb Clothing company. He was married last February to Miss Marguierite Leppleman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Leppleman of 317 Westminster street. He was a member of the Episcopal church and also of the choir and was very prominent and popular among the younger set. His death is a shock to his many friends.

Besides his wife he is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Luther Inge; two sisters, Lucy and Hellene, and one brother, Billy, of the home address.

The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the First Presbyterian church, conducted by Rev. W.E. Warren of the Episcopal church, assisted by Dr. Clyde Howard of the First Presbyterian church. Burial will be in Mt. Hope.
