Benedict Zullo, 84, passed away Monday June 9, 2014 at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, RI. He was the husband of the late Carol Leigh Zullo.

Mr. Zullo was born April 6, 1930 in New Haven, the son of the late John and Mary (Gargiulo) Zullo. He obtained his Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and his MBA from the University of New Haven. He was a longtime resident of Cheshire where he was a communicant of St. Thomas Becket Church for many years. He had a career in sales engineering across the globe.

Mr. Zullo is survived by his son, Jeffrey J. Zullo and his wife Elaine of Litchfield; his daughters, Laurie Zullo Moreno and her husband Charles of Strafford, NH and Susan Zullo Byrne and her husband Frank of Cumberland, RI; his seven grandchildren Sarah and her husband Jared, Kathryn and Johnathon Zullo, Adriane and Ethan Moreno, Maeve and Christopher Byrne. He was predeceased by his siblings Marie Albano and Anthony Zullo.

Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 14, 2014 9:15 from the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. to Saint Thomas Becket Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Dr., P.O. Box 5022, Wallingford, CT 06492.
