He married Fannie M. Cross in 1898 and they had a farm in Porterville Village, Benton, Michigan and had their two children:

Fred worked in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church Hospital Organization.. His wife Fannie supported him in this endeavor all her life.
Later they moved to Otsego, Allegan, Michigan,
By 1917 hey had moved to Tippecanoe, Marshall, Indiana where Fred Eastman was the Manager of WABASH VALLEY SANITARIUM in La Fayette, Indiana which provided inpatient mental health established as a Seventh-day Adventist institution in 1906.
In 1921 Fred Eastman was living in Boulder, Colorado with his wife Fannie and daughter Letha and was the Busness Manager of the Boulder-Colorado Sanitarium which had been built in 1896 by the 7th Day Adventist Church.
Later in the mid 1920's they moved to Los Angeles, California where Fred was the Manager of the Glendale Adventist Medical Center a non-profit organization owned and operated by the 7th Day Adventist Church.
His wife Fannie died in Jan 1929 in Los Angeles and was buried in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, California.
He then married Frances Lucy Steunenberg in late 1929 and continued to manage that hospital in Los Angeles, Calif. Francis Steunenberg was the daughter of Frank Steunenberg 4th Governor of Idaho and Eveline Kepple.
By 1940 Fred Eastman had retired and moved to Redlands, California where he owned and managed a chicken ranch.
He died June 14, 1961 age 86 in San Joaquin, California, USA

Fred R. Eastman is survived by his daughter Letha Alene Eastman Lane and her husband Herbert Lane of Yolo, Calif and Mabel Annabel Eastman Findagrave #100426871 and her husband Harold Marshall Sylvester Richards Findagrave#100426730 and 3 grandchildren.
