Services for Armatha Brown, 98, of San Augustine, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 5, at Little flock Missionary Baptist Church in San Augustine County with the Rev. W.B. Dickerson and the Rev. Cliff Durham officiating. Burial will be in Little Flock Cemetery.

Brown died July 2, 2004 in Lufkin.

Born Oct. 29, 1905, in Warren, she was the daughter of Jule Brown and Cynthia Whitmire. She was a housewife.

Survivors include sons Jack Brown of San Augustine and Jimmy Brown of Bronson; daughter Essie Mae Clark of Bronson; sisters Virene Craig of Bronson and Virgie Block of Kountze; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
