Born in Boligee, Alabama on May 20, 1951, Sadie Powell Bradley was the daughter of Eddie and Leola Powell. They later relocated to Birmingham, Alabama, where she attended Wenonah Parker High School. She was currently taking classes for her Master's Degree in Education.
Sadie accepted Christ at an early age in Birmingham. The family relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio in 1968. She met and married Arthur Bradley in 1997.
Sadie was a devoted member of Zion Hope Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed serving Christ, her family and friends. She was devoted to taking care of her younger brother.
Her parents preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her passing: her devoted husband, Arthur Bradley; one sister-in-law, Betty Stafford and her husband, Vernon, of Cincinnati, Ohio; one sister, Fannie Powell; two brothers, Hosea Cook and his wife, Sonny, and Alan Powell; one aunt, Ora Lee Coodes of Detroit, Michigan; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews other relatives, friends and a very special dog named MYLES.
A Celebration of Sadie's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m, Saturday, March 1st, 2014 at Zion Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 3201 Mathers Street, Walnut Hills, Cincinnati, Ohio (45206).
