John Yocum, a resident of Grand Ronde for 28 years, died in that community Friday at the age of 69 years. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Buell chapel in Springfield.
Mr. Yocum was born in Westboro, Wis., June 24, 1887. He is survived by a brother, Joe Yocum of Grand Ronde, and a sister, Mrs. W.J. Beitch of Compton, Calif.
Services will be conducted by the Rev. Howard Larsen. Interment will be in the family plot in Laurel Hill cemetery.
