Age 104. She was born in MA in 1909 and came to Florida in 2009 to live with her sister, Ruth Kagel. She received her AB at Harvard and an MSW at Simmons School of Social Work. She was a pioneer publicist for Elderhostel, a member of Harvard Learning in Retirement where she founded the Frances Addelson Shakespeare Players. Positions held included Director of Social Work, Reformatory for Women, MA and Senior Social Worker Beth Israel Hospital, Boston. An early supporter of womens right to choose, she received an honorable award for her paper published in the National Journals of Obstetrics, Gynecology, Orthopsychiatry. She was a life member of Temple Israel of Boston, Brandeis, Hadassah, Hebrew Rehabilitation and other charitable organizations. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur and son, William.
