AHOSKIE - Alberta Caine Vernon, 76, of Ahoskie and a native of Scotland Neck, died Friday, Feb. 24, 2006.
Funeral services will be held at noon, Saturday, March 4, at Roanoke Zion Baptist Church in Scotland Neck, with the Rev. Earl Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Lionel Whidbee Funeral Home in Scotland Neck is handling the arrangements, where a visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m, Friday, March 3.
