"Death of Raymond Whiteman - Raymond Whiteman, aged twenty-one years, son of Walter Whiteman, died last Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at his home, 212 Olive avenue, after an illness of appendicitis. He was a well known young baseball player, having been pitcher for many local teams. The funeral services were held this afternoon from the family residence and the burial was at Leyden cemetery."
