Jacob Peru was the son of Alexander & Eliza Swarts Peru. His father emigrated from Canada in 1822. Jacob Peru was married to Mary C. Langdon on 9 Apr 1874 in Harrison Co., IN. Jacob & Mary had the following children - Eliza, Richard Louis Alexander "Alex" , William, Charles, Leonard and possibly an unknown child.
