Marriage info: August 2, 1829 in Miami County, Ohio for Nancy Marshall and Lewis Hutsell

Nancy (Marshall) Hutsell's parents are proven to be Thomas Jefferson Marshall and Catherine (Egar) Marshall by the following records.
1.) On an 1880 census record Edward Marshall and Nancy (Marshall) Hutsell's child/grandchild are stated as cousins showing Nancy's parents will be the same as Edwards' parents. Specifically John Hutsell is listed as cousin to Elmina Elizabeth (Marshall) Purviance on the 1880 census living in the same household. Elmina is the daughter of Edward Marshall and Catherine (Custer) Marshall.
2.) Nancy (Marshall) Hutsell's obit states that her sister Mrs. Robert Worster attended her funeral. Mrs. Robert Worster is Diana (Marshall) Worster. This shows that Edward, Nancy and Diana are all siblings.
3.) Diana (Marshall) Worster's death record states that her father is Thomas Marshall.
4.) In a newspaper article in the HUNTINGTON WEEKLY HERALD dated 6 MAY 1892 on PG. 5, it is stated: "Edward Marshall is again seen on our streets. He says he is eighty-seven years old. He came from Kentucky here in 1817, with his father Thomas Marshall. He is the eldest of thirteen children, three girls and ten boys. He was born in Pennsylvania." So Edward's father is stated as Thomas Marshall as well.
5.) Edward Marshall's infant granddaughters are buried next to Thomas Jefferson Marshall and Catharine (Egar) Marshall in West Union Cemetery in what appears to be a family burial plot. Buried on the other side of Thomas Jefferson Marshall and Catharine are the descendants of Samuel G. Marshall.

Note: As noted below by Nancy (Marshall) Hutsell's children's names, Nancy names her oldest son Thomas Jefferson Hutsell after her father Thomas Jefferson Marshall. Thomas' middle name is confirmed on a funeral home record for his daughter Alma Hutsell-Dickey. Nancy also names one of her daughters Catharine.
