Funeral services were held Wednesday
at the First Baptist Church of O.L. Clines Sr.
of Ardmore, who died Sunday (Nov. 19,
1989) in Huntsville Hospital. He was 75.

The Rev. Paul Clutts and Wheeler Kidd
officiated. Burial followed in Malone
Cemetery in Ardmore. Taylor Funeral
Home in Ardmore was in charge of
arrangements.

A native of Alabama, he was the son of
the late Wesley Franklin and Viola East
Clines and a member of the First Baptist
Church of Ardmore and the Masonic
Lodge in Ardmore. He was formerly
employed as an electrical engineer
for NASA.

Survivor include three sons, Leonard
Surwassaw Clines, Eddie Wilson Clines,
and Oren Lee Clines Jr., all of Ardmore;
two daughters, Linda Nell Holt of Athen,
Ala., and Betty Sue Tapscott of Hartselle,
Ala.; two brothers, Ernest Clines of
Henegar, Ala., and Ray Clines of Ringgold,
Ga.; seven sisters, Ruth Campbell of
Montgomery, Ala., Audrey Barnes of
Fairburn, Ga., Louise Frazier of Pelzer,
S.C., Imagene Haywood of Atlanta, Ga.,
Edna Nichols of Forrest Park, Ga.,
Mildred Williams of West Points, Ga.,
and Mary Johnson of Section, AL; 13
grandchildren and seven great-grand
children.
