Mr. and Mrs. Hayler celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Sept. 19, 1937. Mrs. Hayler was a member of the High Street Methodist Church, the Athenaeum Club, the Monday Afternoon Club, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Prior to the automobile accident, Mr. and Mrs. Hayler had lived many years at 320 North Vine St., in Muncie.
Surviving are two sons, Rodney G. Hayler of Muncie and Commander Robert W. Hayler of San Diego, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Hertel of Knoxville, Tenn., and Mrs. Robert Worley of Anderson; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Rodney J. Gould of Canton, Ohio, and Judson W. Gould of Andover, Ohio; and a sister, Mrs. Charles T. Oldroyd of Canton, Ohio.
The funeral service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Meeks Mortuary with Dr. A. Wesley Pugh, pastor of the High Street Methodist Church, in charge. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 4 p.m. Saturday.
