Rosebella Josephine married Walter Down and they immigrated to Canada in 1904 with their children, Walter Alfred William, Sidney Thomas, and Arthur George. While still in England they lost a daughter Ada Ethel who was born in 1890 and died the following year. Sidney died in 1906 at age 22 from heart disease. Both the remaining sons enlisted for WWI. Walter returned home but Arthur was killed in action 1916. Walter Alfred died in 1944.
