Martha Davis Brown, 93 of Midway, TX passed away on March 3, 2013 in Navasota. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00AM Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Little Rock Baptist Church in Madisonville with the burial to follow in Midway Southside Cemetery. Martha was born on February 12, 1920 in Madisonville to Albert Connor and Callie Davis. She grew up in Madisonville, got her CNA designation, and worked for many years at The Goodrum Nursing Home, what is now known as The Madisonville Care Center. She was married for many years to Ulysses (Kit) Brown and was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Jack; and her grandson, Jack. Martha is survived by her daughter-in-law, LaEvelyn Brown; her grandchildren, Shewana Winn, Ricky Irvin, and Gayla Brown; and numerous other family members and friends.
