Died at home in this city, at 6 P.M. on Tuesday, Aug. 26, Belle, wife of Elijah Wilcutt, aged 42 years, 2 mo. and 10 days.

Her madden name was Belle Friermood. She was born in Delaware Co, Indiana, June 19, 1863 in the year 1874, at the age eleven years she came to this country with her mother, Mrs. Otho Hendrix and other relatives, and has resided in or near Knoxville since that time.

On Dec. 24 1881 she was united in marriage with Elijah Wilcutt who with there four children Ada, Charles, Forest, and Loucygne, survives. Her other relatives in Knoxville and vicinity are her Mother, Mrs. Otho Hendrix, of the city, her half-brother Benjamin and Calvin Wilson near town; Mrs. John Hill, of Des Moines(Half-sister)and Mrs. J.W. Maddy southeast of town who is also a half-sister, Thomas Hendrix, of Des Moines is her youngest half-brother.
She also has a full brother, some place in Ohio, and a half-brother residing at Converse, Indiana.

The funeral service were held at home on Tuesday, Aug. 31,conducted by Rev. A.S. Loveall of the M.E. church.
