Mount Cavalry Burial Records state date of death Jan 19, 1945 but grave photo taken in 2014 reveals 1936; Buffalo Evening News Obit states June 20, 1936. Grandma Louise (her sister) said Frieda died in her 20s of a sarcoma (cancer) and was engaged to wed at the time. She was maid of honor at Louise & George's wedding in 1932. She was still an infant upon the family emigration trip to the US from Austria summer 1913. Sister Louise explained Frieda became sick on the ship and upon arrival to Ellis Island NY, the family was quarantined. The manifest record of Ellis Island is stamped "HOSPITAL".
