LOLA WEBB BINGHAM HESS, 93 years of age of Maxie, VA, passed away Monday, September 30, 2013 at the Buchanan General Hospital following an extended illness. Born in Pike County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Georgia Slone Webb. She was a resident of Buchanan County most of her life and was a member of the Breaks Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and was a wonderful homemaker. She also loved to garden and help others in need.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carson Hess; 2-Sons: Emil Bingham and James Bingham; 1-Step Son: Garnet Leon Hess; 1-Sister and 4-Brothers.

She is survived by 2-Daughters: Beulah Tinker, Bryant, AL, Eula (Jimmy) Stiltner, Kemper, KY, 1-Son: Kennis (Wilma) Bingham, Maxie, VA, 1-Sister: Lillian Dabbiage, Ontario, Canada, 1-Brother: Elmer Webb, Frenchburg, KY.

Also, survived by 23-Grandchildren, 37-Great-Grandchildren, 44-Great-Great-Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services for LOLA WEBB BINGHAM HESS will be conducted Friday, October 4, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Evg. Raffael Farrow and Evg. Clint Stewart officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be grandsons.
