Harry married Fetje "Fanny" Spaan on Nov 10, 1917. They lived in San Pedro, CA where they raised 1 daughter & 4 sons. They also lived in Wilmington & Lomita, CA. Harry owned a grocery store in San Pedro for several years and later in the mid 1930's until his retirement 30 years later, worked as a longshoreman at the Los Angeles Harbor in Long Beach.
