Doberman Pinscher (red female)
Meggie's companion was Georgette.

Meggie was our 'little thief'. She was very comical and would always manage to steal something without you seeing her. She was very mischievous. She broke our hearts when she suddenly died of a heart attack in her bed.

Meggie would wrap herself in a blanket that was on her bed by rolling around on the blanket until it was all around her like a mummy. We called her the ‘Mummy Dog' when she did this.

Meggie could not wait for her blanket to come out of the dryer on wash day. As soon as I put the warm blanket on her bed, she was inside the blanket all rolled up.

Meggie always took her collar off when it was bedtime. She would rub her neck on the rug until the collar was off. Meggie would look for her collar first thing in the morning and bring the collar to us to be put on.

Meggie's favorite toy was a green tennis ball. She loved to pop the tennis ball and hold the tennis ball in her mouth compressing it so it would make a noise.

Rest in Peace.
