Henry Fienburg
Nesau Finebury
Nisau Finebery
Nisan Finebery, and a census in NY listed him as
Henry Feinbach
His religious name was Nisen ben Yitzhak (Nisen son of Isaac).
He had a short tragic life: marriage, immigration in steerage, worked as a peddler, two daughters born, then a third who died of infantile cholera before she was 2. Then the birth of a son, followed by his own death 2 months later, at 32, of typhoid and pneumonia!
Ironically, his son Joseph also died young at 29, of a ruptured appendix, six months before the birth of his second child. Josephine A Davis. And poor Josephine died at 9 months.
