Funeral services for Louie A. "Jack" Caskey, 69, of Winnfield, Louisiana, were held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 1982 in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home with Reverends Charles Haley and T. E. Williams officiating. Burial followed in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Winnfield under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Mr. Caskey died at 12:15 a.m. Saturday, April 17, in Winnfield General Hospital after a long illness.

He was a native of Arcadia, Louisiana, a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, and a long time resident of Winnfield.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jewel Killen Caskey of Winnfield; two sons, Richard Caskey of Alexandria and David Caskey of Lafayette; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Sue Smiley of Dodson and Mrs. Judy Frazier of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; five sisters, Mrs. Maude Chandler of Calvin, Mrs. Gladys Cockerham of Homer, Mrs. Eva Cockerham of Teague, Texas, Mrs. Myrtle Grigsby of Clay, and Mrs. Idell Poisso of Winnfield; and 10 grandchildren.

Pallbearers were H. L. Caskey, Jr., of Dodson, Edward Chandler of Calvin, Ray Chandler of Winnfield, Murry Chandler of Dodson, Rogers Jones of Dodson, and Rudolph Foster of Winnfield.
