I have records that state he was buried at the Macedonia Baptist Church in Owen County. I cannot find a cemetery by this name, so I plant him here until I can located the correct place of burial. He is place here based on the family relationship to this family here and in Virginia.

Woodson, was married first to Lucy M. Pates in 1835, daughter of Chandler Pates and Lucy Sullivan. They had the following children.

Virginia Frances Sullivan
Louise Ellen Sullivan
Chandler N. Sullivan
Woodson Jackson Sullivan
Thomas Sullivan
William B. Sullivan
Lucy Ann Sullivan
Susan A. Sullivan

He married 2nd on September 25 1863 Sarah E. Martin Pates, daughter of James and Sarah Martin, and presumed widow of Simeon C. Pates. Simeon was not dead, he was a POW behind Union Lines. The adult couple left Spotsylvania County and when to Owen County, Kentucky via Roanoke, Virginia. Woodson's son William, and Sarah's son Lafayette traveled with them and settled there.
