Maryanne McConachie Alves, age 49, of Stratford, died in St. Vincent Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born to Dorothy (Conway) McConachie of Bridgeport and the late Peter J. McConachie, Sr.
A resident of Stratford for 23 years, Mrs. Alves was a former secretary for St. Vincent Medical Center with over 20 years of service. Survivors include her beloved husband of 26 years, Antonio Alves, a daughter, Jenna Alves and two sons, Jason Alves and Antonio P. Alves, all of Stratford, a brother, Peter J. McConachie, Jr. and his wife, Bobbie of Milford, a sister, Ellen Reilly of Shelton, cousin, Thomas Hudak of Vermont, her father-in-law, Ernesto Alves of Trumbull and brother-in-law, Justino Alves and his wife, Fernanda of Trumbull, as well as many additional cousins and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Timothy J. McConachie, an aunt, Mary Hudak and her mother-in-law, Cesaltina Alves.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. James Church, Stratford.
