Samuel "Roscoe" Davis, 85, Live Oak, Fl passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 after a long illness. The life long resident of Live Oak was a Veteran of Korean Conflict while serving in the Army and was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife of sixty years: Mary Davis, Live Oak, Fl; one daughter: Melissa (Cecil) Skeen , Live Oak, Fl; four sons: Sammy (Shelly) Davis, Ft. Waldon Beach, Fl, Arthur (DeDe) Davis, Live Oak, Fl, Rick (Lisa) Davis, Lee, Fl, Paul (Zoe) Davis, Caps, Fl; four sisters: Doris (James) Glass, Blountstown, Fl, Ruth Starling Davis, Jacksonville, Fl, Jennette Haney, Live Oak, Fl, Ozell Hill, Live Oak, Fl; two brothers: Hural Davis, Live Oak, Fl, Windell Davis, Live Oak, Fl; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services for Mr. Davis will be held at 11:00 am Friday, August 2nd at Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. James H. Carrier and Rev. Clarence Parker officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Daniels Funeral Home Thursday, August 1st from 6:00-8:00 pm.
