Sid was a good friend of our family for many years. He'd been widowed, and divorced, a father of five children, and had many grandchildren, who all loved him to bits.
He was a great 'storyteller' but you could never be completely sure that the story was true, but it didn't matter, Sid's renditions were so hilarious. There were many times when he would have me crying with laughter. He definitely had a golden tongue...he could sell snow to the Eskimos!!
