TURTON- Services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Elsie C. Christensen, 70, of rural Turton, who died at her home Sunday. The Rev. E. Elliot Means will officiate at the Congressional Church, Turton. Burial will be at the Conde Cemetery.
Mrs. Christensen was born May 14th, 1892, at Auburndale, Wis., daughter of John and Marie Teska. She married John Christensen in Aberdeen in June, 1915. She had lived in rural Turton 47 years. Mrs. Christensen had been ill about three months.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Leslie (Dorothy) Kettering, Brentford; Mrs. Charles (Lois) Trapp, Verdon; four sons, Harold, Des Plaines, Ill.; Richard, Fargo, N.D.; Frank, Turton; Jack, Bismark, N.D.; 15 grandchildren; one brother Ray Teska, Auburndale, Wi.; one sister, Alfrieda Moss, Sioux City, Iowa. She was proceeded in death by her husband in 1957, and by eight brothers and sisters.
She was a member of the Congregational Church of Turton.
The Casket will be open at the church from 12 noon, to 1:40 p.m. and will not be open after the service.
Bryson Funeral Home, Redfield is in charge of arrangements.
