Jim was a truck driver most of his life.He loved people, children, and animals. He attended Asbury School and then Lincoln High School. He drove a school bus when he was in High School.
He loved to give. Nothing gave him so much joy as to give to others especially those in need and he wanted to give without them always knowing it he who gave. He had MANY friends throughout his life.
He loved Harley Motorcycles and The Lord. He loved telling others of Jesus. For many years he ran down the wrong road but when he found Jesus was always waiting for him he embraced Him. He would give Bibles to his friends when they got saved.
He worked for Sonoco in the mill for many years then later he went to Ethan Allen. Some time later he ended up at Conitex-Sonoco as a driver then he went to Underwood & Weld for a short time when he found out he had Pulmonary Fibrosis.
The physical exam to do the surgery found cancer. They could not operate to give him a lung transplant due to the cancer. He had to be cancer free for 2 years to do the lung transplant. He was told his lungs would not stand the cancer surgery and he had no time left. They told him he would die within 6 months. He died almost 6 months to the day.
Jim is missed very much by his family and friends. He is in a better place and cancer free and he can breathe again. He is in the place he loved to hear about "HEAVEN".
We loved him and wish he were here but The Father had other plans for him.
