Parents: Otis and Dorothy Anderson Gilbertson∼Sherilyn (Gilbertson) Noble, age 56, of Mount Horeb, died on Thursday, June 30, 2005, at St. Marys Hospital in Madison, Wis., after an extended illness. Sheri was born Feb. 15, 1949, in Dodgeville, to Otis and Dorothy (Anderson) Gilbertson. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandson, "Coty," who was her pride and joy. She also enjoyed her high school classmates and her two cats. She was a member of Perry Lutheran Church in Daleyville, Wis. Sheri was a big Packers fan and loved watching football. Sheri is survived by her daughter, Kari (Korie Schiffman) Noble of Mount Horeb; her grandson, Dakota "Coty" Kahl of Mount Horeb; her parents, Otis and Dorothy Gilbertson of Hollandale; her brother, Mark (Vickie Mowbray) Gilbertson of Hollandale; two sisters, Julie (Randy) Hoege of McFarland and Tam Exterovich of Madison; many nieces, nephews and cousins; her college friend, Sheila (Stuart) Densmore; and many other friends. Sheri's nieces and nephews thought of Sheri as their favorite person. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; two aunts and three uncles. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 4, 2005, at the HOLLANDALE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 470 Main St., with the Rev. Mark Gruner officiating. Burial will be at the Hollandale Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 3, 2005, at the HOLLANDALE LUTHERAN CHURCH. The Ellestad Funeral Home, 500 N. 8th. St., Mount Horeb, is serving the family. A special thanks to all who cared for Sheri especially the New Glarus Home, UW Hospital, St. Marys Hospital and their dialysis center and Mayo Clinic. Also a special thanks to Wendel and other drivers who transported Sheri whenever she needed a ride.
