Anthropologist and Artist. George Bushotter is considered by many to be the first Lakota Sioux ethnographer. He created many drawings to illustrate various aspects of the Lakota way of life. Those drawings are now on display at art museums like the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and are sold at auction to art collectors.
