Son of Thomas and Ann Bengree.

John was baptized on the 17th March 1776 at All Saint's Church, Eyton.

He married Sarah Smith on the 7th December 1801 at St. Mary, St. Denys & St. George's Church, otherwise known as Manchester Cathedral, Manchester.

John died aged 57 years.
