Aubrey Rodgers was born June 11, 1929 in Lexington County, Miss. He is the son of Robert and Hattie "Grantham" Rodgers. He served four years in Berlin Germany during the Berlin Airlift. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Peggy Hairald Rodgers; daughter's, Alison Toney and her husband, Robert, of Madison; Gayle Lavish and her husband, Craig, of Madison; son Robert Rodgers and his wife, Rose, of Vacaville, Calif; granddaughters, Elizabeth and Juliana Toney; Chelsea, Ariel and Tasha Lavish; grandson, Hunter Lavish; sister, Ina Lester, of Willis, Texas; brother, Everett Rodgers of Madison; brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Carolyn Rodgers of Shreveport, La; sisters-in-law, Norma McCormick of Winona, Miss., and Iva Lea Rodgers, of Gulfport, Miss.; brother-in-law, Roy Hairald and wife, Mary, of Nettleton, Miss., and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, and two brothers.
