Annie Elmore, 76, daughter of Fred Easley and Mary Jane Bridges Easley, was born April 22, 1901 in Texas County, Mo. and died April 13. 1978 in the Texas County Memorial Hospital, Houston. Mo.

She was united in marriage to Dewitt F. Elmore July 21, 1922 and to this union nine children were born. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Lloyd and Dewaane, her husband on May 22, 1973, one sister and two brothers.

Survivors are five sons, Lehman of Neosho, Mo.; Wayne of Plato, Willie of Houston. Don and Thurman of Roby: two daughters, Juanita Goodman of Houston and Hazel Breedlove of Lynchburg, Mo.; two brothers Ernest and Mart Easley of the state of Iowa; two sisters, Stella Jackson of Raymondville and Orena Smith of the state of Kentucky; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

She spent most of her life in Texas County, where she and her husband reared their family.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 15 at 2 p.m. in the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Mrs. Sadie Miles officiating. Burial was in the Pilot Knob Cemetery near Roby, Mo.
