GROVETOWN, Ga. - Entered into rest Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at The House of Light, Mr. Richard Hampton, formerly of Dyer Street, Augusta. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from W. H. Mays Mortuary with Reverend George Holcombe officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mr. Hampton was a native of Illinois and a veteran of the United States Army, where he served as a Demolition Specialist. Survivors are two daughters, Cynthia Hampton and Kimberly Hampton Davis.
