Born to Robert and Leolia May (Henderson) Callahan, he was a freshman student at Riverside High School. He enjoyed his car and playing football. He was a very loving son and brother, who will be deeply missed forever.
Also surviving are two brothers, Robert Callahan Jr., Wilkes-Barre, and Charles Callahan, Moosic; four sisters, Denise Mulderig, Throop; Donna, Tracy and Amy Callahan of Scranton; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Ann's Basilica.
