Barbara GOEHRING born 24 December 1853 in Kassel, Glueckstal, Odessa, South Russia, was the daughter of Johann GOEHRING and Christina WITTMEIER.
Barbara married Johann BECKER 8 February 1877 in Kassel, Glueckstal, Odessa, South Russia.
Barbara and Johann BECKER with their oldest son John immigrated to America from Glasgow to Castle Garden, New York, arriving on the 2 June 1879 aboard the SS "Circassia".
They first made their home in Tripp, Hutchinson, Dakota Territory, then relocated to their homestead in rural Lehr, Dakota Territory in June 1886 (4½ miles southeast of Lehr) and into the town of Lehr in March 1910.
Barbara BECKER died on the 23 February 1911 in Lehr, McIntosh, North Dakota.
