Mrs. Jennie N. Casedy, 80, window of John Casedy, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Albert Smith, R.D.2, Sharon, near New Virginia at 3:20 a.m. today. She had been ill one year.
She was born in Mercer-Co., May 18, 1865, the daughter of Hunter and Margaret Nelson Bowie. She lived in this vicinity all her life. She was a member of the Clarksville Methodist Church.
Surviving are six children, Mrs. Smith, of R.D.2, Sharon; John, Albert, and Frank Casedy, all of Clarksville; C.J. Casedy, Detroit, and Lee Casedy, Sharon: a sister, Mrs. C.W. Jennings, Sharpsville: a brother Joseph Bowie, Erie: and 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie N. Casedy, 80, of R.D.2, Sharon, were held yesterday in the home of her daughter, Mrs Albert Smith, near New Virginia. Srevices were in charge of Rev. L.E. McGarvey.
Burial was in Zahniser Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ted Stewart, Walter Casedy, Robert Anderson, Robert Crompton, Gerald Steinbrook and Victor Osborne.
