Allie Lula Blanton Mackey was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Allie married James B. Mackey married Jan. 2, 1916 in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. Where they farmed 40 acres with a mule. J.B. and Allie came to Terry County, Texas in 1930 and farmed on land located one mile east of Needmore for 38 years. They retired in 1958 and moved to Brownfield, Texas.
Their children were Marjorie Sansing(Willie), Marjean Lankford(Melvin), Clarice Wood(Bill) and Jimmie H. Mackey.
Among her surviors are 8 grand children.
