Raymond Cotton, 90, of Dawson Springs, died Sunday, May 13, 2012, at Tradewater Health and Rehab in Dawson Springs.
Born Aug. 24, 1921, in White City, Ill., a son of the late Robert Thomas and Annie Hamby Cotton, he was a self-employed carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louella Cotton; a son, Bobby Cotton; and three sisters, Myrtle Boitnott, Dessie Cotton and Mary Cotton.
Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Hicks; four sons, Jimmy Cotton, Johnny Cotton, Glenn Cotton and Davy Cotton; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lois Herndon of Memphis, Tenn., and Margaret Durham of Madisonville; and a brother, Cleatis Cotton of Dawson Springs.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 16, at 1 p.m. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs with the Rev. Denzil Sizemore officiating.
Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery in Caldwell County.
