Mrs. Annie Bristow Dies Tues. at Loudon - Funeral Thursday at 10:00 For Well Known Former Pine Orchard Resident -- Mrs. Annie Gowman Bristow, age 57, passed away at the home of her step-daughter, Mrs. John Steed, near Loudon, at 11:40 a.m., Tuesday, Jan 6th. She had been in ill health and in an invalid condition for twelve years. Mrs, Bristow was a former well known resident of the Pine Orchard community in nearby Morgan County. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church... Surviving are her husband, Bert Bristow; a son Richard Murphy, and a daughter, Mrs. P. C. Laning, Jr. of Rockwood; two step-daughters, Mrs. John [Mae Bristow] Steed of Loudon, and Mrs. George [Lois Mabel Bristow] Kirkland, of Knoxville; one step-son, Kenneth Bristow, of Knoxville; one brother, Harry Gowman, of Edwright, West Va.; two grandsons and two granddaughters...
