Mrs. Irene Graham Martin, 78, widow of Paul Leroy “Roy” Martin, died Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at McLeod-Loris Hospital after an illness.
Mrs. Martin was born March 10, 1936 in Conway, S.C., a daughter of the late Frank and Alma Rabon Graham. She had retired from Heritage Sportswear and was also a homemaker. Mrs. Martin was a member of Rains Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving Mrs. Martin are: her Children: Larry G. (Jeanette) Martin of Galivants Ferry, Wanda (Dale) Herendeen of Rock Hill, Judy (Allen) Register of Galivants Ferry, Donna (Billy) Smith of Mullins and Susan (Biff) Johnson of Loris; 10 Grandchildren; 21 Great Grandchildren; and a Sister: Wilma Powell of Green Sea.
Mrs. Martin was predeceased by a sister, Marie Bell.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 20 at the Chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home of Mullins, SC, with Rev. Phillip Tipton and Rev. Johnny Jenerette officiating. Burial will follow in Berea Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation was held Friday night from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. at Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
