Mrs. Glennie Pearl Hammond, age 90 of West Monroe, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013.
Born Friday, October 27, 1922 in Winnfield, Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late George Ray and the late Viola Dick Ray. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Hammond and sister. Mildred Porter.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Robert Byrd of West Monroe, LA, granddaughter, Erin O'Neal and children Trace and Tegan of Oak Grove, LA, and a special niece, Michelle Chapman of West Monroe, LA
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield, with the Rev. Purvis Rodriguez officiating. Interment will be in Brown Cemetery, near Atlanta, LA.
The family will receive friends from noon until service time on Sunday, February 24, 2013, at Southern Funeral Home.
