Z Martin was the daughter of John Preston Martin and Permelia (Price) Martin.
My Grandfather Van Claire Martin told me as a joke I am sure, that it was said they had so many children that Z was to be the last,( BUT) along came Et, meaning etcetera but his real name was Ethan who was my grandfather's father.
Miss Z and brother Et were on the last stagecoach holdup in Tennessee October 15th 1882 "Bug Hunt and the Edward boys" held it up.The driver of the stagecoach was John Rayburn.

Miss Z Martin was a music teacher in Cookeville and lived most of her life with her brother; she never married.
