Mrs Clemance Blanchette, 49, wife of Donat Blanchette of 23 Riverbank Ct, Springvale, died Wednesday last week at the Henrietta D Goodall after a lingering illness.

Residing in Springvale for the last 23 years, she was born in Quebec City, Quebec on July 24 1914. daughter of Joseph and Hermine Daigle Lallemand. Mrs Blanchette was a communicate of Notre Dame Church and a member of its Ladies of St Anne Society and Master Circle and Daughter of Isabella.

Mrs Blanchette is survived by her husband, three sons, Robert of Norwich, CT, Richard of Pompano Beach, FL, and Raymond of Springvale. A daughter Mrs Leo Bachand, Springvale; her mother, Auburn; three brothers Maurice of New York City, and Ralph and Leo Lallemand of Auburn; Three sisters Mrs George Shaw, Mrs Ernie Ray of Auburn, and Mrs Walter Lapointe of Bristol, CT. and seven grandchildren.

Prayers were said SAturday morning at the Boisvert-Lafrance funeral home, 29 Winter St. A Ssolemn High Requim Mass followed at Notre Dame Church, Springvale. Burial was in Notre Dame Cemetery, Springvale.
