Funeral services for Charlotte Elizabeth Nugent will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA with Rev. John O'Brien officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories in Winnfield, LA. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm on February 5, 2013 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA.
Charlotte Nugent, 63 years of age, passed away February 3, 2013. Charlotte was born November 17, 1949 to the late James Waters and Gladie Richard Waters in Opelousas, LA. Charlotte was a caring and compassionate lady who loved spending her time caring for others. She was meek in spirit, very soft spoken, and never complained. She had a great love of family and friends, and had a soft spot for all animals. She fought a corageous battle with cancer, and will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.
She is survived by two sons, Terry McQuillin, Jr. and wife Sandy of Natchitoches, LA and Matthew Nugent of Woodworth, LA; one daughter, Bonnie Gremillion and husband Blake of Pineville, LA; her mother, Gladie Richard Waters of Winnfield, LA; one brother, James Cecil Waters of Las Vegas, NV; and four grandchildren, James Riley McQuillin, Logan Scott McQuillin, Kristin McQuillin, and Eva Gremillion.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ben Nugent, and her father, James Waters.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Penny Heard for all of her help, loving kindness, and support during Charlotte's illness.
