Judy Geiger, 68, of Pine Beach, passed away at Community Medical Center, Toms River, on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012. Born in Teaneck, she grew up in Englewood Cliffs before moving to the Jersey Shore in 1973. Judy was a health and physical education teacher at Dumont High School for nine years. During that time, she became the first female Director of Athletics at Dumont High School where she started the girls' sports program. After moving to Beachwood, she became a full-time mom and volunteered her time to the Beachwood Soccer Club. For over 30 years, she was a coach for BSC, working with the Beachwood Tigers, Hornets and Magic, as well as directing the micro soccer program. Additionally, she served as the games Chairperson on the Beachwood Soccer Club Executive Board for over 25 years and on the Executive Board of the Jersey Coast Soccer League for many years. For the 12 years her children were in elementary school, she served on the Pine Beach Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization and acted as Class Mom for all three of her children.

Judy was predeceased by her father, William King; her mother, Audrey King; and her brother, James King. Surviving are her husband, Dr. Ronald Geiger; her sister, Janet Martin; her three children, Mark Geiger, Steven Geiger, and Karen and AJ Trump; and her two grandchildren, Alexa and Kylie Trump.

Visiting will be at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Beachwood,NJ. The Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements.
