FAG member Bootsie has kindly provided the following information: Vine Hill Cemetery is part of Clermont Cemetery. There seems to be different opinions on the correct name of this cemetery. According to officials, the correct name is Clermont Cemetery. Most families living in that area have always referred to it as Vine Hill since it is on the property of the Vine Hill Church. In the 1999 record by Tom Hembrey regarding the cemetery name he states that the correct name according to the Vine Hill Church, who are the owners, is Vine Hill cemetery being one in the same. The original cemetery started another several hundred yards back on the ridge as early as 1827 which is the earliest burial he recorded.
