Born January 15, 1997 in Doylestown, PA, Joey lived in Kingwood Township, NJ. He attended the Kingwood Township School and was a sophomore at Delaware Valley Regional High School in Alexandria Township, NJ. He loved sports and was a three sport athlete, playing football, basketball and baseball.
Joey was known as a kind, affectionate, youthful person with an infectious smile. He had a pure, gentle spirit and loved people. Everyone who knew Joey loved him too. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and many friends.
Joey was a member of Our Lady of Victories R.C. Church in Baptistown, NJ where he served as an usher.
Joey was survived by his loving parents, his father Joseph Karabin II and his mother Kimberly Fioravanti (and her companion Kevin Callahan); his sister Brittany M. Karabin of Kingwood Township, NJ; maternal grandmother Judy Fioravanti (and her fiancé John Pania) of Cherry Hill, NJ; four aunts Kathleen Karabin, Suzanne Sesta, Eileen Ricardo (and her husband Lester), and Tammy Fioravanti, two uncles John Karabin (and his wife Terri) and Thomas Karabin; fourteen cousins and many, many friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Cesare Fioravanti and his paternal grandparents Joseph and Kathleen Karabin.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Edward the Confessor Parish Center (across the street from the church), Rt. 519, Milford, NJ. Interment followed in St. Magdalen Cemetery in Flemington, NJ.
